Online Depression Treatment from Licensed Psychiatrists

If you struggle with depression, you’re not alone. In the U.S., more than 21 million adults do as well. Unfortunately, when it comes to depression treatment, psychiatry has historically been associated with quick prescriptions and depersonalized care. Psychiatry Connection’s approach is entirely different. Here’s why.

What Makes Psychiatry Connection Unique

We are not corporate owned. We are a growing national practice with our own training protocols, oversight, employee culture and support staff. Our care decisions are based on evidence-based practices and we have access to the latest psychiatric medications and treatment modalities to maximize benefits for you.

When you engage with a Psychiatry Connection professional, you work with someone who will take the time needed to thoroughly evaluate your physical and mental health history before beginning treatment. No 5-minute sessions here. We schedule 30-minute appointments, and our team is encouraged to take the time needed to develop the best treatment plan with you.

Will My Insurance Cover Treatment?

Yes, we accept most major insurance providers in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Washington. We are growing fast, and will soon serve more states as well.

How many appointments will I need?

As we said, we take the time needed to accurately diagnose you. In most cases, within two or three sessions, we can begin to chart out a treatment plan for you.

Is My Information Confidential?

Our providers are licensed in your state. They abide by all federal HIPAA and state privacy laws, so you can be assured your information is safe and secure.

How Do I Know If I Have Depression?

Depression is a mood disorder defined by long-lasting bouts of sadness, disinterest and hopelessness. Causes often include genetic factors, stress or a traumatic event. These dark periods may last days or weeks, and can make small daily life challenges appear much greater than they are.

The most common symptoms are:

  • Persistent sadness and worry
  • Irritability (very common in children)
  • Insomnia or hypersomnia (sleeping too little or too much)
  • Lethargy and not wanting to do things you may have previously enjoyed
  • Thoughts of self-harm

If you suffer from these symptoms, a consultation could be your first step to recovery.

Are there different types of depression?

Yes. Below are some common types of depression.
