If you’re considering starting care with us, we’re here to make the process as simple and supportive as possible. This FAQ covers everything you need to know as a new patient, including how to schedule your first appointment, what to expect during telehealth visits, insurance and payment information, and more. We’re committed to helping you feel informed, comfortable, and confident as you begin your mental health journey.

To schedule your first appointment with Psychiatry Connection, you can Call Us, Message Us, or fill out our Get Started form. Whichever is most convenient for you. Once you are connected with us, we will ask you to fill out our New Patient Registration Form here.

You can join your appointment by clicking the Zoom link in your confirmation email. If you’re on a computer, you can join through the Zoom app or your browser. On a phone or tablet, the Zoom app will open automatically. Make sure to allow camera and microphone access.

We accept many major insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, and state Medicaid programs. For those paying out-of-pocket, we offer clear, affordable self-pay rates with no hidden fees.

Yes. Our licensed psychiatric providers can prescribe medications when appropriate, including those for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more. Controlled substances are prescribed in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Yes. We provide psychiatric care for children as young as 3. Our providers are experienced in treating both children and adolescents in a supportive, family-informed approach.

All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a stable internet connection. Our platform is easy to use and no technical experience is required.
